Yarn Over Patterns and creations

Stitch terms:

  • MC: Magic circle
  • SC: Single Crochet
  • INC: INCrease
  • DEC: DECrease
  • SLP: Slip stitch
  • HDC: Half double crochet
  • TYW: Turn your work

PATTERN EXPLANATION:

  • Repeat stitch sequence between (…..) by the amount stated next to it.
  • The pattern is written in US terms.
  • The amount of each stitch at the end of each round is shown in the […]
  • Working in continuous rounds with your stitch marker
  • Photos are placed in groups after each section.

PART ONE: The limbs

Crochet fox free pattern

Arms (Make two)

(stuff the arms as you go)

Colour B (Black):

1: MC, 6 SC [6]

2: INC x6 [12]

3: (SC, INC) X6 [18]

4: SC in each stitch around [18]

5: (1 SC, DEC) x6 [12]

6-12: SC in each stitch around [12]

Change Colour A (Orange):

13-19: SC in each stitch around. [12]

Pinch the opening of the legs flat between your thumb and index finger, SC across legs, end with a slip stitch, make sure you have 6 SC at the base of your legs to attach them to the body.

Sewing them on afterward:

Leave a strand of yarn to sew the arm to the body between rounds 24-25.

Colour B (Black):

1: MC, 6 SC [6]

2: INC x6 [12]

3: (SC, INC) X6 [18]

4: (2 SC, INC) x6 [24]

5: SC in each stitch around [24]

6: (2 SC, DEC) x6 [18]

7: (SC, DEC) x6 [12]

8-10: SC in each stitch around [12]

Colour A (Orange) :

11-22: SC in each stitch around. [12]

Pinch the opening of the legs flat between your thumb and index finger, SC across legs, end with a slip stitch, make sure you have 6 SC at the base of your legs to attach them to the body.

Sewing them on afterward:

Leave a strand of yarn to sew the legs to the body between rounds 36-37. They should be in line with the arms
