PART TWO: The body
Head and body are one piece
(Stuff as you go) Colour A & C for head and body
HEAD:
Colour A (Orange):
1: MC, 6 SC [6]
2: INC x6 [12]
3: (SC, INC) X6 [18]
4: (2 SC, INC) X6 [24]
5: (3 SC, INC) x6 [30]
6: (4 SC, INC) x6 [36]
7: (5 SC, INC) x6 [42]
8: (6 SC, INC) x6 [48]
Safety eyes will be placed round 11-12, 10 stitches apart
9-15: SC in each stitch around [48] (Don’t cut colour A yarn)
Colour C (White):
16: (6 SC, DEC) x 6 [42]
17: (5 SC, DEC) x6 [36]
18: (4 SC, DEC) x6 [30]
19: (3 SC, DEC) x6 [24]
20: SC in each stitch around [24] – stuff head
21: (2 SC, DEC) x 6 [18]
22: SC in each stitch around [18] Continue now with colour A yarn.
BODY:
Colour A (Orange):
23: (2 SC, INC) X6 [24]
24: (3 SC, INC) x6 [30]
Attach the arms: place the arm against the body, insert your hook through the first stitch of the arm (Photo 1) and the first stitch on your body (Photo 2), yarn over and pull through both stitches on your hook and complete your SC.
25: (sc 6 with the arm, sc 9 stitches of the body, Place the second arm and do sc 6 for arm 2, sc 9 stitches for the rest of the body) [30]
26-27: SC in each stitch around [30]
28: (4 SC, INC) x6 [36]
29-30: SC in each stitch around [36]
31: (5 SC, INC) x6 [42]
32-34: SC in each stitch around [42]
35: (5 SC, DEC) x6 [36]
36: (4 SC, DEC) x6 [30]
Attach the legs: Do the same mentioned for the arm, except you, will do 2 SC in round 37, before attaching the leg.
37: (SC2, SC6 with the leg, SC 10 stitches of the body, place the second leg and do SC 6 with the second leg for leg, SC 8 for the rest of the body)
38: (3 SC, DEC) x6 [24] Start stuffing the body
39: (2 SC, DEC) x 6 [18]
40: (1 SC, DEC) x6 [12]
41: ( DEC) x6 [6]
Sew close the opening of the body
PART THREE : 4 February 2022, We will then be making the ears,tail, nose and scarf.
