how to crochet a reindeer - Free pattern

Hi crafter! It is Tuesday free pattern by Yarn Over with Natasha

I would like you to meet Burney the Christmas Reindeer! This guy had a little colour change from Yesterday! He took my about 4hours to remake because of his antlers and facial features, but as you can see it is totally worth it!

As always, if you want to skip the ads and get detailed instruction to assemble Burney with step-by-step photo tutorial you can hop on over to my shop and grab the printable pattern there!

Head on over to my SHOP (PayPal option) or if you prefer you can get him on ETSY or Ravelry.

ASSEMBLE OF THE EYE:

  • Sew the white section onto the face first. The eyes should be against the muzzle on either side.
  • Sew the black (Pupil) of the eye onto the white section, you can play around with the placement by pinning it down with some needles.
  • Take the black strand of yarn and wrap it around the outer corner of the white. Secure it in place by making small stitches around the eye as you go. Tip: I first make the long stitch around the eye and then go back to making the small stitches for a cleaner less bumpy look.
  • Optional: Add color to the eye by taking a strand of yarn and making a stitch around the outer corner of the pupil.

EYEBROWS:

Use the remaining strand of yarn from the pupils to create the eyebrows. The highest point of the brow should be between rounds 8-9 from the MC, in line with the inner side of the main antler, while the lowest point of the brow should be between rounds 10-11,
