Meet my little duckling, I promised that I will bring you new characters that I have never made before.
In this FREE pattern you will be making this all white little duck, the multicolor duckling can be found with this one in my shops!

Here is the pattern!
Yarn:
I used Elle pure gold double knit/ light worsted weight yarn to make this Duckling
- White yarn 40g
- Yellow yarn 10g
- Orange yarn 10g
Hook:
- 3.0 mm Crochet hook
Other materials:
- scissors
- stuffing
- 10/12 mm safety eyes (optional)
- stitch marker
- tapestry needle
Stitch terms:
- SC: Single Crochet
- INC: INCrease
- CH: Chain
- DEC: DECrease
- SLP: Slip stitch
- MC: Magic Circle
- DC: Double Crochet
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner, you need to know the basic of amigurumi and working in rounds and how to work from left to right in rows.
HEAD:
1: MC, 6 SC [6]
2: INC x6 [12]
3: (SC, INC) x6 [18]
4: (2 SC, INC) x6 [24]
5: (3 SC, INC) x6 [30]
6: (4 SC, INC) x6 [36]
7: (5 SC, INC) x6 [42]
8: (6 SC, INC) x6 [48]
9-14: SC in each stitch around [48]
If using safety eyes: Place eyes between rounds 11/12, 8 stitches apart
15: (6 SC, DEC) x6 [42]
16: (5 SC, DEC) x6 [36]
17: (4 SC, DEC) x6 [30]
18: (3 SC, DEC) x6 [24]
19: (2 SC, DEC) x6 [18] – stuff the head
20: (1 SC, DEC) x6 [12]
21: (DEC) x6 [6]
slip stitch and weave in end.
BEAK:
1: CH4, (2 SC in 2nd chain from hook), SC in next stitch, 4 SC in the last stitch. Now working on the opposite side of the chain4, SC in the next stitch, 2SC in the last stitch. [10]
2: (1SC, INC) x5 [15]
3-4: SC in each stitch around [15]
Stuff the beak a little bit. Leave a strand of yarn to attach the beak to the face. The beak goes just under the eyes, sew the beak on between two rounds of stitches, you want the beak to be flat and not rounded.

WINGS: Make two
1: MC, 6 SC [6]

3: (SC, INC) x6 [18]

8: DEC x6 [6]- No stuffing required.
Slip stitch, and leave a long strand to sew the wing to the side of the body, The wings should be placed in a vertical position, 4 rounds under the head on either side of the body.

Slip stitch and leave a long strand to sew the body to the head.
FEET: Make two
1: MC, 4 SC [4]
2: SC in each stitch around [4]
3: (INC) x4 [8]
4: (1 SC, INC) x4 [12]
5-6: SC in each stitch around [12]
(You will be working through all 4loops to create the toes)
Pinch the foot in half between your thumb and index finger, Chain 2, DCx3 in the first stitch, Ch1 in the next stitch, DCx4 in the next stitch, SC in the next stitch, DCx3 in the last stitch, Chain2 and slip stitch in the corner creating the toes for the duck.

TAIL:
1: MC, 5 SC [5]
2: SC in each stitch around [5]
3: INC x5 [10]
4: SC in each stitch around [10]
5: (SC, INC) x5[15]
6: SC in each stitch around [15]
7: (2 SC, INC) x5 [20]
End off with a slip stitch, Pinch the opening of the tail between your fingers and slip stitch or SC 10 across to close the tail. Leave a strand of yarn to sew the tail between rounds 7 and 8 counting from the bottom of the body.
