Included is an adoption card, that you can print out and included with your cuddle me friend, the parents that receive it can fill it out for the child, there is also a spot on the card for you to add your business name.

Secondly, you will receive two tags, One is a care card, which you can fill in the fiber you used (Cotton or acrylic) and then mark on the card how the customer can wash and take care of the toy.

Thirdly, I have included an info card that you can attach to the cuddle me when you are at a market, this way people can read the tag and explain what the function of the toy is. (Because let’s be honest, I have had people at vendors ask me if I have run out of stuffing!)

Cuddle Me Patterns are a great way to provide comfort and security for small children who may experience separation anxiety. These patterns, like the Cuddle Me Pig, create a perfect mix between a toy and a soother, which can help children feel safe and secure while they’re away from their caregivers.

So, whether you’re making one for your child, or for markets to sell to other parents, these patterns are a great way to provide comfort.

Piggy with a stuffed body:

Follow the direction of the pig pattern and just do the following changes when you start the body. You will be working in HDC, alternating between the back and front loops of your stitches.

BODY:

The body requires little stuffing, working in HDC stitches. (Chain 2 at each round, doesn’t count, slip stitch at the top of each chain)

HALF-DOUBLE CROCHET BLO-FLO – Round 26 & 28 is the only regular HDC around, from round 27 you will alternate between the front loop and back loop of each stitch. INCREASE– Will be the same as a regular increase, two half double crochet in the same stitch. DECREASE, work your hook in the front/back loop of the first stitch and the back/Front loop of the second stitch before decreasing. Continue rounds as normal by alternating between FLO/BLO

26. CH2 (HDC/INC) x6 [12]

27. CH2 (1 HDC, INC) x6 [18]

Note: When attaching the arms, HDC without alternating between loops.

28. CH2, Place arm 1 (2 HDC, INC) x2, (2 HDC, INC) x1, Place arm 2 ( 2 HDC, INC) x2, (HDC, INC) x1 [24]

29. CH2, (3 HDC, INC) x6 [30]

30. CH2, (4 HDC, INC) x6 [36]
