Pattern information:
Stitch terms:
- SC: Single Crochet
- CH: Chain
- INC: INCrease
- DEC: DECrease
- SLP: Slip stitch
- MC: Magic Circle
- DC: Double crochet
- PUFFst: Puff stitch
Stitches:
DC: Yarn Over, insert your hook, pull up a loop, Yarn Over, and pull through two loops, Yarn Over, Pull through two loops.
PUFF STITCH: Yarn over, insert the hook in the stitch, yarn over, draw the yarn through the stitch, yarn over, and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook – Repeat x2 –

For this part of the Crochet-a-long we will be making the arms and legs for the dinosaur
The Pattern
ARMS (Make two)
You will be changing colours when doing the puff stitch for the claw, Indicated as (BOLD) in the pattern below
Colour A: (Blue) Colour B: (white)
1: MC, 6 SC [6]
2: INC x6 [12]
3: (SC, INC) x6 [18]
4: SC (SC, PUFFst, SC) SC,(SC, PUFFst, SC) SC,(SC, PUFFst, SC) SC in the next 6 stitches [18]
5:SC in each stitch around [18]
6: (1 SC, DEC) x6 [12]
7-18: SC in each stitch around [12] stuff the arms
Press the legs flat between your thumb and index finger and slip stitch or SC 6 across closing the bottom of the legs. If you are not going to attach the legs using whipstitch, weave in the yarn ends.
LEGS (Make two)
You will be changing colours when doing the puff stitch for the claw, Indicated as “red” in the pattern below
COLOUR A: (Blue) Colour B: (White)
1: MC, 6 SC [6]
2: INC x6 [12]
3: (SC, INC) x6 [18]
4: (2SC, INC) x6 [24]
5: SC (SC, PUFFst, SC) SC,(SC, PUFFst, SC) SC,(SC, PUFFst, SC) SC,(SC, PUFFst, SC) SC in the next 8 stitches [24]
6: SC in each stitch around [24]
7: (2SC, DEC) x6 [18]
8: (SC, DEC) x6 [12]
9-15: SC in each stitch around [12] – stuff the legs
Press the legs flat between your thumb and index finger and slip stitch or SC 6 across closing the bottom of the legs. If you are not going to attach the legs using whipstitch, weave in the yarn ends.
