If you’re a fan of amigurumi and love the charm of small, handmade creatures, I’ve got a delightful treat for you. Introducing my new little duck crochet pattern. I have come such a long way designing these that I feel this is my best duck pattern yet. I often look at my older patterns and think how I can improve on them.
Introducing my free crochet duck pattern, “Little duck”, an easy-to-follow project that’s perfect for beginners and a fun way to use up your yarn stash as it uses more or less 50g of Yarn. This cute duckling is worked from the head down, the beak, feet and wings are then sewn on afterwards. This duck is quick to make 2hours if you are a seasoned amigurumi crocheter and about 3-4hours if you are a true beginner or just made a couple of amigurumi.

FACIAL DETAILS:
Eye highlight: Use a thick double-knit cotton and loop a stitch tight against the outer corner of your safety eye. Tip: Use a little bit of clear craft glue to glue the white stitch against the eye to prevent it from slipping over the eye.
Eyelash: Use black yarn to loop a stitch above the safety eye. Make this loop a little longer by inserting your needle one stitch away from the eye, creating a longer lash.
