How to crochet a snail- Free pattern

If you are looking to gift your partner something cute for Valentine’s Day, you have stumbled upon the perfect pattern.

Not only is Loopy the snail super cute, but it is also very easy to whip up in an hour or two. So if you have just found this post and need a Valentine’s gift on short notice, this one was meant just for you!

This amigurumi crochet snail pattern can be made with any yarn weight or texture you have on hand. That is the fun part of amigurumi; you don’t need to follow the rules.

I have made Loopy the crochet snail in velvet yarn and in DK, and if you make him in fingering yarn or 4-ply yarn, you can easily turn him into a keychain.

If you are not planning on making him for someone special, you can always make him to sell at your markets. These snails work up quickly, and because of their size, you can sell them at a lower price. These snails are perfect for your craft market table to cover the cost of the booth.

What I love about this snail is that the color options are endless. Just imagine them on the table, all with their different color shells. They can also easily be turned into a “no-fuss pet” at your booth.

More quick and easy patterns for valentines day and craft fairs

One thing that I really love about this minimal/no-sewing amigurumi projects are how easy and quick they work up.

Keychains makes great items to sell at craft fairs. They are usually my best sellers during fairs. They often make up for the cost of my booth pretty fast, leaving me with more profit from my bigger items.
