FACE SHAPING:
Take a strand of yarn, the same colour as the horse, and knot it at the side, where the eye is, squeeze the eyes together by placing your thumb and index finger on each eye and work your needle with the yarn back and forth between the two eyes. Pull yarn tight each time to form the eye sockets “Dents” in the face. The tighter you pull the yarn tail the closer the eyes will be together. depending on the look you are going for.
Use some white thread to make the highlights for the eyes. The highlights are a long stitch around the bottom section of the safety eye.
EARS: (make two) Starting at the tip

1: Start with 4 SC in the magic ring [4]
2: SC in each stitch around [4]

Pinch the opening of the ear between your thumb and index finger, and slip stitch or SC 5 across the bottom. Fasten off and leave a strand of yarn to attach the ears on top of the head. Attach the ears between rounds 22-23 of the head, make sure the points of the ears are facing each other.
HORSE TACK AND BIT:
Tack band across the nose:
Colour C: (Red)
