Britney Bunny crochet-a-long part two – Free pattern

Welcome to the Crochet-a-long Bunny Part Two! In this post, we will be making the arms and tail for our adorable bunny.

Before we begin, make sure you have completed Part One of the crochet-a-long bunny. We made the head and ears, if you missed it click HERE to view the post.

Stitch terms:

  • MC: Magic Ring
  • SC: Single Crochet
  • INC: INCrease
  • DEC: DECrease
  • SLP: Slip stitch
  • CH: Chain
  • DC: Double crochet
  • TC: Trebble crochet
  • HDC: Half double crochet
  • TYW: Turn your work

 

Stitches:

DC: Yarn Over, insert your hook, pull up a loop, Yarn Over, and pull through two loops, Yarn Over, Pull through two loops.

 

TC: Yarn Over twice, insert your hook, Pull up a loop, Yarn Over, pull through two loops, Yarn Over, pull through two loops, Yarn Over, Pull through two loops.

 

HDC: Yarn Over, insert your hook, Pull up a loop, Yarn Over, and pull through all three loops on your hook.

The Pattern

ARMS: (Make two)

Colour A: (Sand)

1: MC, 6 SC [6]

2: INC x6 [12]

3: (SC, INC) x6 [18]

4-5: SC in each round [18]

6: (SC, DEC) x6 [12]

7-20: SC in each stitch around [12] 

Stuff paws tightly and lightly stuff the rest of the arms.

Pinch the opening of the arms flat between your thumb and index finger, and slip stitch or SC 6 across to close the arms. End with a slip stitch, Leave a strand of yarn to sew the arm to the body between rounds 19-20 if you have not added them when you made the body.

TAIL:

Colour A: (Sand)

1: MC, 6 SC [6]

2: INC x6 [12]

3-5: SC in each stitch around

Slip stitch and leave a yarn strand for sewing. Stuff the tail before attaching it to the body between rounds 4-6 counting from the bottom of the body.

Continue on to make the body in PART THREE.
