Britney bunny Free CAL introduction post

Are you ready for another super fun crochet a long with your host Yarn Over with Natasha?!

If you missed the previous Crochet-a-longs with me you can recap them here!

THE DINOSAUR CUDDLER

MOLLY THE DOLLY

APOLLO THE DRAFT HORSE

Britney the Crochet bunny is my second pattern that is similar to my famous Farm lamb

She is made from the legs up to the body and the arms are attach while you finish the body. The head and ears are attached separately but I have a trick to show you how to easily sew on a 3D head like this one!

Her ears are two separate panels placed on top of each other connected with a single crochet stitch.

Her dress is all in one piece worked from the bottom down.

What is a crochet a long?

Crochet-a-long or CAL is when a pattern is split into a few parts, and each section of the pattern is released on different dates set by the designer. Crochet-a-long is a fun project for people to finish over a certain amount of time.

How to take part of the crochet a long

There is two options to get notified when the CAL starts and when the next section of the CAL will be released.

You can sign up to my email list and get notified when the CAL is live and ready.

If you have already signed up for my mailing list you will receive email notification

Second option to know when the CAL is Live and has started is to join my Facebook group.

Size of the crochet doll: If you use the recommended size hook and yarn weight the pattern provides, the doll will be around 30cm/11,81 inches. The Doll can be bigger or smaller, depending on yarn choice, hook, and tension. but that is the fun part about Amigurumi; no test swatches are needed.

SKILLS:

This is intermediate pattern. Basic amigurumi crochet skills are needed. Magic ring, Single crochet, increase and decrease. But also other techniques, working rows and Double crochet.

The only tricky part of this pattern would be her feet, that you create the ankle. But I have done it before on a previous rabbit pattern of mine and even beginners could do it. Just need to read through the instructions carefully.

What you will need to crochet this rabbit

  • Colour B: 10g for the inner ear
