Crochet springbok- By Yarn over with Natasha

Welcome or welcome back to my crochet blog friend!

If you are a fan of Rugby, crochet and amigurumi this post is just for you, so stick around!

The Rugby World Cup has started and that means everyone is now trying to make something to support their team, Since I live in South Africa we are Springbok supporters and I thought this would be just the right time to make a Springbok!

I have been wanting to make a springbok in such a long time but I was just not sure how to make it look like one but still super beginner friendly. It wasn’t till I made my first goat that I got my final design idea on how to make this Springbok come to life!

I used Elle yarns charity brand in the colours Gravel, Coco, White, sunshine, emerald, and school grey. You can also find a green yarn called “Springbok” if you want to swop it out for the emerald.

The yarn is light worsted weight yarn, but you can use any weight yarn, just remember to switch out your hook size accordantly.

You’ll find in this post below what you will need to make this Springbok pattern including the instructions to crochet the Springbok with it’s scarf.
