How to price your amigurumi projects

Did you just start selling your amigurumi pieces and now not sure if you priced them correctly? Maybe you might be cutting into your profit because your missing some important steps because you are following the outdated guide of 3x the cost of your yarn. Read HERE how to price your amigurumi correctly.

TENTACLES:

15:**Chain 11, HDC x2 in the 3rd chain from the hook, Repeat 2x HDC in each chain till you reach the body. Create a DEC next to the tentacle, SC in the next stitch, and Chain 11 again**.

  • Repeat the section between **…** till you reach the first tentacle. In total, you should have 6.

Cut a longish strand of yarn to close the bottom and sew the tentacles to the body.

Bumpy the turtle is one cute fella that is also very easy to wip up and also another favorite at my market! You can get the pattern free HERE or get the pattern in my SHOP with a free bonus keychain pattern included.

CLOSING THE BOTTOM:

Using your tapestry needle, create a zigzag stitch by inserting the needle diagonally back and forth around the bottom section of the octopus, weaving the yarn through the tentacle and the back through between them. Imagine forming a “ZIGZAG ” shape with your stitches. Pull it tight to close the bottom.

Squish the tentacle against the body “If will naturally curl up against the body” Use the remaining yarn tail to secure the tentacle to the body by placing a stitch through the tentacle and body to keep it in place. Make a knot, cut yarn, and weave in the end.

Make a cute little no-sew whale to match your Octopus keychain. Find the free pattern HERE.
