Facial features
Embroidery nose:
Use a long strand of brown embroidery thread for the nose. The nose of the cat is an upside-down triangle. The top of the nose should be between rounds 13-14, 5 stitches wide. The bottom of the nose should be between rounds 15-16. Fill in the nose with vertical stitches placed closely together. Make a small vertical stitch down the nose with an upside V at the bottom for the mouth.
The whiskers: Make three stitches on either side of the eye.
Face shaping the eyes:
Take white embroidery thread and make a stitch on the outer corner of each eye. Pull the thread tight to pull the eyes together. Repeat the stitches with both eyes to create the white highlight on either side
BOW:
-Working in rows-
Colour C:
1: CH 10, HDC in 3rd chain from the hook, HDC in the remaining chains, TYW [8]
2: CH2, HDC in next 7 stitches, TYW [8]
3-8: Repeat round 2 [8] *6 Rows*
9: Fold the bow in half and slip the stitch across, connecting the two sides.
- Fold the bow so that the stitch line is at the back of the bow.
Slip stitch and leave a long strand of yarn to close up the edges of the bow and create the centerpiece.
- Pull the strand of yarn out from the center of the bow and wrap it four times around the center. Give it a knot and attach the bow to the ear or the neck as a bowtie
