Easter is around the corner and not better way to prepare for it by joining in on this Crochet-a-long of Britney the bunny pattern.

Pattern information:
Stitch terms:
- MC: Magic Ring
- SC: Single Crochet
- INC: INCrease
- DEC: DECrease
- SLP: Slip stitch
- CH: Chain
- DC: Double crochet
- TC: Trebble crochet
- HDC: Half double crochet
- TYW: Turn your work
Stitches:
DC: Yarn Over, insert your hook, pull up a loop, Yarn Over, and pull through two loops, Yarn Over, Pull through two loops.
TC: Yarn Over twice, insert your hook, Pull up a loop, Yarn Over, pull through two loops, Yarn Over, pull through two loops, Yarn Over, Pull through two loops.
HDC: Yarn Over, insert your hook, Pull up a loop, Yarn Over, and pull through all three loops on your hook.

For this part of the Crochet-a-long we will be making the ears and head for the bunny.
The Pattern
EARS: (Make 4 panels)
2 x Colour B: (Blush) and 2 x Colour A: (Sand)
Note: You will now be working in rows, make the inner ear first
R1: Chain 9, SC in the 2nd chain next to the hook, SC in each of the remaining chains, TYW [8]
R2: CH1, SC in next 8 stitches, TYW [8]
R3-13: Repeat row 2
R14: CH1, SC 3,DEC, SC 3, TYW [7]
R15-16: CH1, SC in each stitch across, TYW [7]
R17: CH1, SC 2, DEC, SC 3, TYW [6]
R18-21: CH1, SC in each stitch across, TYW [6] *4 Rows*
Cut and weave in the yarn ends on the inner ear.
Don’t cut the yarn when you finish the outer ear, place the inner panel on top of the outer ear and SC evenly down the sides of the ear. Go around the bottom and SC 8 through all 4 loops, repeat even SC on the side and at the top of the ear. Leave a tail of yarn to sew the ear onto the head between rounds 19-25. – REPEAT with the second ear.
ROUND TIPS ON THE EARS:
1: SC in the corner of the ear, HDC in the next stitch, DC in the next stitch, TC in the next two stitches, DC in the next stitch, HDC in the next stitch, and SC in the last stitch on the corner of the ear. [8]
Sequences would be: SC, HDC, DC, TC, TC, DC, HDC, SC [8]
Cut yarn and weave in both ends. – REPEAT with the second ear
HEAD:
Colour A: (Sand)
1: MC, 6 SC [6]
2: INC x6 [12]
3: (SC, INC) x6 [18]
4: (2 SC, INC) x6 [24]
5: SC in each stitch around [24]
6: (3 SC, INC) x6 [30]
7-10: SC in each stitch around [30]
11: (4 SC, INC) x6 [36]
12: (5 SC, INC) x6 [42]
13-14: SC in each stitch around [42]
15: (6 SC, INC) x6 [48]
Insert safety eyes between rounds 13-14,
with 12 stitches visible between them
16-20: SC in each stitch around [48]
21: (6 SC, DEC) x6 [42]
22-23: SC in each stitch around [42]
24: (5 SC, DEC) x6 [36]
25: (4 SC, DEC) x6 [30]
26: (3 SC, DEC) x6 [24]
27: SC in each stitch around [24]
28: (2 SC, DEC) x6 [18] stuff head completely
29: (1 SC, DEC) x6 [12]
30: (DEC) x6 [6]
Sew the head close and weave in the yarn end.
Creating eye sockets: Using the same color yarn as your working yarn you will make three small stitches around the eye and pull them tight.
Nose and eyes: shape a big Y on the front of the face with your cotton thread. Use some cotton yarn to make a white stitch under each eye.
