9-13: SC in each stitch [48]
(If using safety eyes: Place eyes between rounds 12-13, 10 visible stitches apart)

Facial details:
Make a big Y between the eyes for the nose and mouth. Using the same thread make two small eyebrows above each eye. Use some white cotton thread and place a small stitch on the out corner of each eye for the highlight.

4-5: SC in each stitch around [12]
6: (2 SC, INC) X4 [16]
7: (3 SC, INC) x4 [20]
8-9: SC in each stitch around [20]
10: (3 SC, DEC) x4 [16]
11-12: SC in each stitch around [16]
13: (2 SC, DEC) x4 [12]

Slip stitch, leave a strand of yarn to sew the ears onto the head
