Yarn Over Patterns and creations
PART THREE:
The ears, nose, tail and the scarf
Ears (Make two)
(no stuffing needed)
Colour B (Black):
1: MC, 5 SC [5]
2: INC x5 [10]
3: SC in each stitch [10]
4: (SC, INC) x5 [15]
Colour A (Orange):
5-6: SC in each stitch [15]
7: (2 SC, INC) x5 [20]
8-9: SC in each stitch around [20]
Pinch the ear flat between your thumb and index finger and slip stitch across closing the bottom of the ear. End with a slip stitch, Leave a strand of yarn to sew the ears between rounds 3- 5 from the center of the head.

Muzzle:
Colour C (White):
1: SC 5 in the MC [5]
2: INC x5 [10]
3: SC in each stitch [10]
4: (SC, INC) x5 [15]
5-6: SC in each stitch [15]
7: (2 SC, INC) x5 [20]
8: (3 SC, INC) x5 [25]
9: SC in each stitch around [25] (Photo 1)
Colour A (Orange): You will now be working in rows
10: SC in next 10 stitches, CH1, TYW [10] (Photo 2)
11: SC each stitch, CH1, TYW [10] (Photo 3)
12: DEC, SC 6, DEC, CH1, TYW [8]
13: DEC, SC 4, DEC, CH 1, TYW [6]
14: SC 2, DEC, SC 2, CH1, TYW [5]
15: SC in each stitch, CH 1, TYW [5]
16: DEC, SC, DEC [3] (Photo 4)
End off and leave a longish strand of yarn so that you can sew the top part on the muzzle onto the white section and attach it to the face of the fox.
Once you have completed the section in Colour A, you will have to flip it over onto the white “Colour C” section of the muzzle. With your needle attach the side to the muzzle.
Stuff the muzzle.
NOSE:
With brown embroidery thread make a small triangle from the center of the muzzle to where the color A of the muzzle stops. fill in the nose with long vertical stitches tightly against each other

TAIL:
Colour C (White):
1: MC, 5 SC [5]
2: INC x5 [10]
3: SC in each stitch [10]
4: (SC, INC) x5 [15]
5-6: SC in each stitch around [15]
Colour A (Orange):
7: (2 SC, INC) x5 [20]
8-13: SC in each stitch around [20]
14: (2 SC, DEC) x5 [15]
15-18: SC in each stitch around [15]
9: (SC, DEC) x 5 [10]
Stuff the tail
Pinch the opening of the tail flat between your thumb and index finger, sc across both stitches. Leave a long strand of yarn to attach the tail between rounds 36/37
SCARF – You will be working in rows creating the scarf
Colour D (Red):
1: Chain 6 [6]
2: HDC in the second chain from the hook, HDC next 3 chains [5]
3: TYW, CH2, HDC next 5 HDC [5]
4: REPEAT ROUND 3, 40 more times.
